Impromptu Poetry · November PAD

When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.
~ Ansel Adams

He sat there perfectly still;
His eyes betrayed his intentions;
They were moving – scanning and seeking.

Not yet, he told himself;
Gathering the dusk about him;
His cloak of invisibility.

He’ll be ready for them this time;
The landscape, his chapel;
The photograph, his prayer.
